Coronavirus guidance – updated 5th March, 2022

Following the removal of all COVID-19 legal restrictions, we have updated our guidance to reflect the changes.

St Paul’s Spennymoor

Face coverings: these are now optional when attending a service or event. The clergy and lay helpers will continue to wear them when administering Holy Communion.

Whitworth Church

Face coverings: as Whitworth Church is a smaller building, we recommend for the time being that face coverings are still worn during church services for anyone over the age of 11, unless they are exempt.

Whilst it’s not a legal requirement to stay at home if you test positive for COVID-19, the Government recommends you should avoid contact with other people. This helps reduce the chance of passing COVID-19 on to others.
