Festival of Trees

This December we are teaming up with our friends at the St Paul’s Centre to host a weekend of Christmas celebrations based around the theme of trees and we want you to get involved and make a tree to display.

Individuals, businesses, community groups and organisations are being encouraged to create their own unique tree using any type of material and of any size - the more unusual and creative the better!

Ideas for trees can include - painted twigs with items hung from them, a tree made from junk, a knitted tree, a tree made out of paper, a painted tree on canvas or other material, an embroidered tree – or something completely different.

All the trees will be displayed in the Centre and Church across the weekend of the 16th and 17th December for the community to enjoy and will culminate with the annual carol service.

If anyone would like to take part or would like more information about the event, please call the Centre on 01388 813404 or email stpaulscentre@btconnect.com.

Completed trees should be brought to the Centre on Friday 15th December, between 8am - 4:45pm.

Please note - no real candles or electrical equipment to be used.
